MALEENA LAWRENCE
From the hood to the hills, Maleena Lawrence is a respected “Generational Builder” behind the scenes, on camera and within the community.
Born and raised in Smyrna, Delaware, Maleena is a trailblazer in merging activism with the arts and the Founder of Deep Rooted Entertainment Group, LLC, a boutique multi-media production company. With a B.A. in Psychology and minor in Theatre Arts from Norfolk State University, her career took off in Oakland, CA, and flourished in Los Angeles, influencing politics and entertainment. An Impact Artrepreneur, Lawrence has been pivotal in producing multimedia campaigns, social initiatives, and globally empowering underrepresented voices, showcasing her versatility through projects like the PRESSURE Mobile Listening Tour, The (M) Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause, Birthing Justice, PUSHOUT: The criminalization of Black Girls in Schools, HEARING AMERICA with Johnny Buss and collaborations with major brands and personalities. Creatively inspired through lived experiences, Ms. Lawrence is the creator, executive producer, producer and Host of the newly launched talk show, "The Maleena Lawrence Show", with a focus on providing generational audiences a safe place for discourse and dialogue.

KOI PUGH - CREATIVE DIRECTOR
​I was born in Washington, DC and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. My parents have been documentary filmmakers since 1980 producing award winning documentary films throughout the decades. I would often tag along with my father on gigs as his unpaid production assistant in where I got hands on experience in field production, live television studio production, and journalism. I attended Norfolk State University, and UCLA with studies focused on film producing. As an independent filmmaker I’ve produced both scripted and non-scripted content including feature films, short films, television series, documentaries, live events, music videos, commercials and social media branded content. My experience in production, post-production, marketing and interactive media gives me a unique edge leading creative for content production, from script to screen or anything in between.

​Alexis Hatchett is a seasoned multi talented entertainment business professional with over 20 years of experience. Her time working in New York City as a talent manager in the music business representing Grammy award winning musicians contributed to her pivot into Hollywood representing award winning screenwriters as a Development Executive and Producer.
